Infringement Policy

Welcome to the Kansas PDF Forms Infringement Policy page. We are dedicated to protecting the rights of creators and ensuring that our website serves as a platform for legally compliant documents. Understanding and respecting copyright laws are paramount to us. Here, you'll find information on how to report suspected infringement and the steps we take to address these concerns.

Reporting Infringement

If you believe that your copyright or intellectual property rights have been violated by content hosted on our website, we encourage you to let us know. Please reach out to us via email at dmca@kansaspdfs.com with a detailed complaint. Your notification should include:

  • A clear identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed upon.
  • A description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on our site, ideally including specific URLs.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address, so we can contact you about your complaint.
  • A statement by you that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use has not been authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  • A statement by you, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.
  • Your electronic or physical signature.

Our Response to Infringement Notices

Upon receiving a valid infringement notice, our team will promptly assess the complaint and take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the material claimed to be the subject of infringing activity. We are committed to acting quickly to resolve any such issues, in compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable laws.

Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content has been wrongfully removed due to an error or misidentification, you have the right to submit a counter-notice. This counter-notice must contain:

  • Your name, address, phone number, and physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location where the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.

  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification.
  • A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal Court for the judicial district in which your address is located, or if your address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which the service provider may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the initial notification of infringement or an agent of such person.

Our team will review your counter-notice and will contact you with our decision on reinstating the material, in accordance with applicable laws.
